CAPRIS Wire Handling Options and Accessories

To maximise productivity and maintain quality we offer a range of products to increase the main wire marking units:

CAPRIS Wire Handling systems have been developed to enable us to customise systems to meet users’ specific requirements. These include a range of modular dereelers, rereelers, wire collection systems, including coil pans, and for higher performance systems, a robotic auto-select and load system which automates the change over of wire on CAPRIS. In addition we can also integrate automatic coil and tie and stacker systems to provide the ultimate levels of automation.

CAPRIS Barcode Solutions technology is a package of products offering the ground-breaking capability to laser mark bar codes directly on wires, as small as 30 AWG, and cables, and read them back with high reliability. This has been combined with Spectrum’s proprietary SATURN Intelligent Electronic Data Management (IEDM) software packages that interrogate the customer’s database and display all key wire harness manufacturing information on screen for the operator, as the bar code is read.

CAPRIS CMS2 is a quality assurance system developed to meet the needs of industry to quantitatively assess the overall performance of the wire marking process. This enables users to confirm that the wire they are using is to specification in terms of markability and ensures that during production their overall marking process is maintained at the required level.
