Spectrum is five minutes from Bridgend station, which is on the London, Paddington to South Wales Intercity rail link.

Journey time is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes from London and the service is hourly. For more information see the National Rail website.

By Air

Options for visitors travelling to Spectrum arriving from overseas are as follows:

CARDIFF WALES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (40 MINS)

Cardiff Wales International Airport is served by daily connections to/from:

• Amsterdam Schipol International Airport
• Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport

If you choose to travel by road from the airport, Hertz and other car rentals are available at the airport.

Directions: Take the A4226 (East) towards Barry, after approx. 2 miles bear left at roundabout continuing to follow the A4226; turn left onto A48 (West) towards Bonvilston / Bridgend, follow for 10 miles, at roundabout take third turning northeast onto the A473 towards M4, follow to the first roundabout adjacent to B&Q. BRISTOL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (1H15)

Bristol International Airport is served by daily connections to/from:

• Brussels National Airport (except Saturdays)
• Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport
• Toulouse Blagnac Airport
• Berlin Schoenefeld Airport
• Amsterdam Schipol International Airport

Directions: From the airport, follow the A38 (towards Bristol) for approximately 5.5 miles then take the A3029 (City Centre) for 1.5 miles. Branch left onto A4 (signposted Ring Road, Avonmouth). After 5 miles take the M5 (direction Midlands M5, South Wales M49), then follow signs for M4 (South Wales, Cardiff, Newport). Exit the M4 at J35 (Pencoed) and then follow map above.


LONDON HEATHROW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (2H45)

By rail from Heathrow to Bridgend: On arrival at Heathrow airport take the Heathrow-Reading RailAir Coach from your arrival terminal to Reading Railway Station (journey time approximately 45 minutes, see http://www.railair.com for details). Take the direct train service from Reading to Bridgend (approximately 2 hours).

Alternatively take the Heathrow Express rail link direct to London Paddington Railway Station (journey time 15 minutes) to connect with the hourly service from Paddington to South Wales, alighting at Bridgend Station (approximately 2 hours 30 minutes).

Spectrum Technologies is 10 minutes by taxi from Bridgend station.

By car from Heathrow to Bridgend: All major car/auto rentals are available at Heathrow. On exiting Heathrow airport turn left onto A30 road (approximately 2 miles) turning onto the A312 towards M4 (approximately 2 miles), at M4 Junction 3 turn left onto M4 heading west (approximately 150 miles). Exit at Junction 35. Follow map above for local directions.


LONDON GATWICK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (3H30)

By rail from Gatwick to Bridgend: Take the Gatwick rail express link to Reading (journey time approximately 45 minutes) to connect with the Intercity rail service to Bridgend.

Alternatively, take the Flightlink coach from Gatwick to Reading, again connecting with the Intercity rail service to Bridgend.

Otherwise there is an express rail link from Gatwick to London Victoria Station where you would need to take a taxi or tube to London Paddington Station for connection with the Intercity service.

By road from Gatwick to Bridgend: Take the A23 route out of Gatwick to M23. Follow the M23 north towards London and join the M25 west bound towards Heathrow/Wales and the West to Junction 15, which joins the M4 west bound towards Bristol/South Wales, follow M4 to Junction 35.
