Sikorsky announced as Nova 880 launch customer

Spectrum Technologies PLC, world leader in laser wire & cable processing technology, is delighted to announce that the first order for their brand new Nova^TM 880 ultra-high speed wire marking system has been received from Sikorsky Aircraft, Stratford, CT, USA.

The CAPRIS^® Nova 880 ultra high speed UV laser wire mark, measure and cut system is Spectrum’s latest innovation and joins the existing range of CAPRIS^® UV laser wire marking products as the new top of the range system. The system was launched on 8 October and was officially unveiled today at the Productronica show in Munich, Germany. During a presentation on the development of this new 5th generation machine it was also announced that Sikorsky is to be the launch customer for the first system. Delivery and installation of this first production machine is scheduled to take place before the year end at their helicopter production facility in Stratford, CT.
