Product Preview: SIENNA AWH - Automated Laser Wire Strip, Measure and Cut System

The latest addition to the SIENNA family of laser wire strippers is the SIENNA AWH (SIENNA with Automatic Wire Handling) - an automated laser strip, measure and cut system brought to you from the development team at Spectrum Technologies.

This latest offering pairs the fast, non-damaging, high-quality accuracy of laser stripping with the practicality and efficiency of a mechanical measure and cut system.

The system is composed of any single or dual axis SIENNA laser wire stripper, any commercial measure and cut system with ability to hot-stamp mark, a single cable dereeler and some simple modifications to both systems. It is a bench-top set-up with the wire entering from the left and being guided along through the 2 systems.

Programming is very simple, with the wire length and strip positions being programmed as usual into the measure and cut machine, and the strip pattern programmed into the SIENNA.

The SIENNA AWH comes in 2 main variations - single-axis and dual-axis versions; and the ability of each differs slightly. The single-axis version is suited to only basic end-strips of any length up to 100mm. The dual-axis system however, can perform slightly more complex strip patterns consisting of end strips of programmable distances and unlimited equidistant window strips.
