NOW AVAILABLE: Report on Laser Markability of Aerospace Wire and Cable

Spectrum Technologies has completed an extensive study of the laser markability of a wide range of aerospace wire and cable. An abbreviated report is now available on this website; to view the report please follow the link to ST0057.

The full report provides details of the contrast results that can be expected when marking a wide range of aerospace wire and cable, in accordance with current aerospace standards, including SAE AS5649 and EN 4650. Wire types tested including common Airbus, Boeing and Sikorsky specifications, results for the full range of wires covered under SAE AS22759 (M22759) are also included along with a number of other SAE wire standards and some cables covered by NEMA WC27500 (MIL-C-27500).
