Innovations in Manufacturing

The Association of Laser Users (AILU) will holding a workshop on 16 May 2012 focussing on "Innovations in Manufacturing: Leading-edge laser materials processing applications" involving presentations from a host of laser processing experts within the UK manufacturing industry.

The conference, to be held at the Knowledge Transfer Centre in Rotheram, will cover recent progress in laser materials processing technology innovations and industrial applications, particularly for high valued added products.

Spectrum CEO, Dr Peter Dickinson, will be addressing the use of lasers in specialist applications for processing high performance wire and cable assemblies.
