
Spectrum secures significant Laser Wire Marker contract
Spectrum Technologies, the UK-based laser wire processing system specialist, has won the bid to supply Robinson Helicopter Company with top of the range UV laser wire marking equipment.
Spectrum will supply Robinson Helicopter with a Nova 840, high performance UV solid state laser wire marking system, high speed wire Auto Select and Loading (ASL) system and new multi-station dereeling system.
Robinson Helicopter Company is the world’s leading manufacturer of civil helicopters . Spectrum Technologies Nova 840 will be used to supply all the marked wires for their full production line of helicopters including the R22, R44, and R66 models. Founded in 1973 by Frank Robinson, the company is situated in the heart of the Los Angeles area and looks towards expanding its growing business.
The Nova 840 is specifically designed for complex wire harness manufacturing applications.
Since the company was founded in 1989, Spectrum has now supplied over 900 laser wire markers to 42 countries, making it unquestionably the world market leader in the development, design and manufacture of UV laser wire marking equipment.
