Spectrum Technologies has been officially presented with the King’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2025, recognising its outstanding global growth.
On 9 October 2025, Spectrum Technologies Ltd proudly hosted the official award ceremony for the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2025 at its headquarters in Bridgend, Wales.
The award was formally presented to Dr Peter Dickinson, Chairman and CTO of Spectrum Technologies, by Lord Lieutenant Peter Vaughan, QPM, CStJ, His Majesty The King’s representative of Mid Glamorgan, in recognition of the Company's outstanding growth and success in international markets.
The ceremony was attended by a number of distinguished guests, including Cllr Huw David, Mayor of Bridgend; Richard Harris, Head of Trade, IBW, Welsh Government; Claire Parfitt, International Trade Advisor, Welsh Government; and Rhian Owen, Relationship Manager SE, Welsh Government. Representatives from Aerospace Wales and the Welsh Automotive Forum were also present to celebrate the occasion.
Spectrum Technologies was also pleased to welcome a number of its key suppliers, whose continued support has been integral to the Company’s global success.
This distinguished award highlights Spectrum Technologies’ continued global success, with exports representing over 95% of the Company’s business for over twenty years consecutively; total exports doubled over the three years of the award.
