Spectrum Technologies Ltd is proud to announce that it has achieved a SME Climate Score of B (the highest SME rating for 2024) from the Carbon Disclosure Project, recognising the company’s efforts and commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible business practices.
CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) is a globally recognised non-profit organisation that operates an environmental disclosure system, assessing companies based on their climate strategies, emissions reductions, and transparency. The highest SME score achieved in 2024 was the newly established SME B rating, placing Spectrum Technologies among the leading SMEs globally in climate action. CDP has stated that data disclosed this year will help develop a methodology to enable SMEs to achieve an A rating in 2025, further raising the bar for climate leadership.
“Receiving a CDP Climate Score of B, up from our previous C rating for 2023, is a testament to the tangible improvements we have made in the last year in our sustainability performance, and our ongoing efforts to reduce our environmental impact as we work towards our goal of Net Zero in 2030,” said Dr Peter Dickinson, Spectrum Technologies’ Chairman. “We are now aiming for an A rating from CDP. As we continue our sustainability journey, we are committed to being at the leading edge of sustainability and further enhancing our climate strategy and aligning our operations with global environmental goals.”
