The awards ceremony took place on 1 October 2026 at the historic Coal Exchange in Cardiff, bringing together some of the most innovative and successful manufacturers from across Wales to celebrate excellence in Welsh manufacturing.

Headquartered in Bridgend, South Wales, Spectrum Technologies develops and manufactures advanced laser wire processing systems used by customers across aerospace, defence, medical, rail, automotive and other high-reliability industries. Today, the company supports customers around the world through its facilities in the UK, USA and Asia-Pacific.

Winning the Export Award is a significant recognition of Spectrum’s long-term success in developing specialist technology in Wales and supplying it to manufacturers across global markets.

Spectrum specialises in laser wire marking and laser wire stripping systems, alongside complementary wire processing technologies. Its equipment is used in demanding manufacturing environments where precision, repeatability, process control and reliability are critical.
